Dreams

Dreams is an AI image generation app where friends describe their dreams via voice and get them visualised.

How it works

1. Describe your dream — type it or use voice (transcribed via OpenAI Whisper).
2. The prompt is optimised by Gemini before being sent to the image generation model.
3. Replicate generates the image.
4. The result is stored and shown in a public gallery.

• Cloudflare R2 — image storage
• Cloudflare KV — rate limiting and idempotency
• Cloudflare AI Gateway — LLM observability
• Gemini — prompt optimisation and image evaluation
• Replicate — image generation
• Whisper — voice transcription
• Vitest — test suite

The objective was to emulate a full production stack on a low-stakes, fun project.
